EarthSwitch Architects engineered the conservatory-style structure for Summerfields River Café, delivering an open-air dining environment integrated into the surrounding landscape. The design utilizes high-volume steel and glass elevations with all sides fully opening to maximize natural light and ventilation while retaining existing mature trees within the floor plan. Featuring a custom climate-controlling transparent roof, retained rock-clad masonry walls, and a featured focal fireplace, the structure combines thermal regulation with unobstructed views of the river setting.
