EarthSwitch Architects designed a self-sustainable kitchen and seating facility for Phumelela Secondary School in Middelburg. The project repurposes two converted shipping containers, integrating solar power, gas cooking systems, and rainwater harvesting to ensure long-term efficiency. This Green Economy-aligned structure minimizes utility costs while providing a durable, covered educational space. The design prioritizes environmental responsibility and functional utility.
